Romania: Political Event Security

We were approached to provide event security for an important political conference in Romania. The list of attendees included many important people from across Eastern Europe and with the unsettled nature of the situation locally, security was a serious consideration.

With many attendees already having their own close protection, our brief was to keep the venue secure, to which end we provided a range of services:

• Internal security sweeping to check for listening devices and other security threats
• Direct security support to the event teams
• External security monitoring of the venue and surrounding area
• Access control, including ID, bag searches and authorisation checks

The event ran smoothly and without incident, and we are standing by to work with the client again in the future.
