ARTEFACT DISPLAY PROTECTION IN PARIS
Recently we were asked to guard an artefact of great historical value and significance that was put on display to the public in Paris for three days. The display attracted high levels of interest from locals and tourists and created a lot of attention.
The organisers were concerned that this statue (an ancient relic) was at risk from vandalism and possible theft, particularly at night. We were approached to provide a security assessment and plan that would provide crowd control and general security to protect the relic in such a way that the public was not deterred from visiting.
Our plain clothes security guards were clearly the best option and we contracted with the organisers to supply three highly trained security guards to fully cover the vulnerable nighttime period. The operation was successful and the artefact was removed undamaged after three days.
We remain in contact with the client standing by to assist should a similar case arise and they need our services again for another display anywhere in Europe.
