Out of Hours Equipment Guarding
The Client
A botanical garden in Wales holds a special event each year that involves high-end specialist equipment. This equipment is expensive, and the organisers were concerned about its safety.
Following their risk assessment and decision to hire professional security to keep the equipment safe, they contacted Titan Security Europe for our security services.
What We Did
First, we sent a supervisor to conduct a full security audit of the site and discuss timings and security concerns with the client.
Through this, we ascertained the following:
- The concerns were with the overnight safety of the equipment only – not the event itself.
- The client wanted full protection for the entire time that the event was not in operation.
On the first day of the event, we sent a team of guards to the gardens just before the event ended for the night. They were then handed all access control to the venue and tasked with the protection of the grounds and the specialist equipment overnight.
Through a combination of static guarding and guard patrols, our guards kept the specialist equipment safe for the entire night, leaving when workers arrived to set the event up for the next day.
The Outcome
Satisfied with our services, the client retained our services throughout the event. The job ran smoothly and we hope to work with the client again in the future.
