A recent example of Titan Security Europe’s close protection services was the protection of Love Island star Ekin-Sue during a recent tour.
Following her rise to fame after her successful run on the eighth season of Love Island and appearance on the last season of Dancing on Ice, Ekin-Sue embarked on a tour of both Northern and Southern Ireland to meet fans, give meet-and-greets, and take photo opportunities.
These kinds of events attract fans from around the country, and with Ekin-Sue’s rising popularity, there were some concerns for her safety during the tour, specifically at venue locations. As a result, her team came to the conclusion that it would be wise to enlist the services of close protection guards.
What We Did
A representative of this team approached Titan Security Europe to inquire about our close protection services.
- In discussion with her team, we informed them that our close protection services cover everything from at-event only to 24/7 guarding.
- We, along with the client, came to the conclusion that what would suit the specific concerns and needs of themselves and Ekin-Sue herself would be to have guards that would meet with her at each venue and remain with her throughout the day.
- A select group of our close protection officers met her at each venue of her tour across Ireland. While some kept supervision of the entrances to the venue, others were kept by Ekin-Sue herself while she met with fans and took photos with them.
- Our guards were not an obvious or overwhelming presence, keeping close enough to Ekin-Sue that they could intervene should anything happen, but far enough away that it did not interfere with her work or her meetings with fans.
The tour went with overwhelming success – though there were many crowds and many fans to contend with, there were no threats or other security issues against Ekin-Sue for the entire tour.
