Event security for a student party
The Assignment
A private party event was being held for students aged 16–21 in London. The event consisted of food, drink, and music throughout the night.
The client organising the event had the following concerns about its security:
- Individuals who had not purchased tickets attempted to enter the event.
- Alcohol consumption might lead to fights or other disruptive behaviour.
- Prohibited activities of taking or dealing drugs
- The venue planned to serve alcohol and needed prevention measures in place to ensure underage or excessive drinking was prevented
The client approached us at Titan Security Europe and asked for our assistance in running security at the event.
The solution
We provided a team of security guards who carried out a variety of duties to keep the event safe and secure.
- Access control, including ticket and ID checks
- Baggage and body searches
- Crowd monitoring and management
- Close supervision of the bar area
- Rapid intervention and resolution of disturbances
The outcome
The presence of our security team ensured that potential problems that were identified during our security audit were anticipated and measure put in place to mitigate them
The event went ahead with no major incidents and with minor incidents dealt with quickly and in a low-key manner
