Reception/Foyer Security for a Bank in London

Although based in access-controlled offices, unauthorised persons still managed to gain entry. Several incidents involved people from the shared office building admitting non-authorised personnel. The client felt the time had come for a security presence to act as a deterrent.

We advised placing guards at the entrance to the building and developing a concierge role for the internal foyers.

Monitoring who enters and leaves was important, so a signing-in book was essential. We also introduced hand-winding, whereby persons were checked upon entry for potential weapons or harmful objects.

The guard has integrated with the team and works with reception staff for access control, becoming a first point of contact for the bank’s staff and customers alike while keeping the site secure. Since the introduction, no incidents have been reported, and the customer has given positive feedback about the quality of our security guard.
