Solar Park CCTV and Monitoring
The Client
A new solar park in Denmark was recently under construction. Construction sites, especially those that store expensive materials such as solar panels and copper pipe plus tools to install them, are major targets for crime such as theft and vandalism that often result in costly losses.
The developer team needed extra security, particularly when the site would be left unmanned, over the weekends and at night.
What We Did
The team approached Titan Security Europe for assistance.
After an initial consultation with the client, it was decided that the best fit for them would be the installation of CCTV that we would monitor from one of our 24/7 control rooms.
We installed this CCTV on the site and monitored it constantly from our control rooms. Through this monitoring, we kept a lookout for any break-ins as well as loiterers or anyone who posed an immediate or potential threat.
CCTV in itself acted as a visible deterrent preventing anyone from entering the site during inactive hours. Our control room staff monitored the cameras ready to dispatch a mobile security team to deal with suspicious behaviour
The Outcome
This contract has now concluded with no issues arising. Whilst it was a temporary assignment, we remain in communication with the client and plan to work together again in future.
